2025 RAM 2500 Model Research

The 2025 RAM 2500 lineup includes seven distinct trim levels. The base Tradesman trim comes with a black grille and bumpers, and 17-inch steel wheels. The Big Horn upgrades to a chrome grille and bumpers with 18-inch polished cast aluminum wheels. Powder-coated front and rear bumpers and 17-inch matte diamond-cut aluminum wheels are featured in the Power Wagon model. The Laramie includes a chrome billet grille and the Rebel trim comes equipped with 20-inch black diamond cut aluminum wheels and all-terrain tires. Power telescopic trailer tow mirrors and southwestern styling with Barnwood accents are offered with the Limited Longhorn, while the Limited adds wood and aluminum accents. All trims include standard LED headlights, with premium projector LED headlights available on higher trims. The front design features a large "RAM" lettering replacing the traditional ram's head badge.

The 2025 RAM 2500's 6.7-liter Cummins diesel engine features a re-engineered block and cylinder head, heavy-duty pistons, and a new performance intake manifold. The engine's CP8 fuel pump operates at up to 2,200 bar (30,000 pounds per square inch) of fuel pressure. A new Holset 10-blade VGT turbo optimizes exhaust gas pressure, and the addition of glow plugs improves cold-start performance. The new helical gear assembly reduces engine noise and increases durability. The eight-speed TorqueFlite HD transmission provides smoother gear changes and better fuel efficiency. The transmission utilizes gears one through six for power and towing operations, while gears seven and eight are used for highway cruising.
